A new day

Last night, watching the election of Barack Obama, with our children of 5 and 2  by our side, asleep, my wife and I wept- we not only realized that this would mean a better future for the little ones we have brought into this world, but we also felt profound pride in our country for having made such a wise decision at a time of crisis that past poor decisions have brought us.  I awoke this morning and did my Chi Gong in front of a rising sun, and wept once again- a new day and a future full of potential.  This leader inspires me to be a better person and strive for more...which I believe is exactly what our country needs at this point in time.
